Faculty & Staff Survey Results School District of University City

Project Appleseed survey results offer a snapshot of district faculty and staff opinion. The questions and responses below reflect key indicators of school performance. This survey was emailed to 340 teachers, support staff and administrators in the School District of University City and 62 responses were received between November 28 - December 8, 2006.This was a confidential non-scientific survey and software limited responses to one per person.

Some of the survey data is compared to previous survey data from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in 2004. DESE surveys all Missouri school districts every five years. Should the School District of University City question the authenticity of these survey results - we urge the school district or the St. Louis Post-Dispatch to distribute this survey to all district teachers and staff and we challenge the district to publish the results on the district's web site.

* The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's (DESE) Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP) uses survey data obtained from students, parents, and school staff to help evaluate educational processes in a district. All staff members are provided the opportunity to complete a survey through the MSIP advance questionnaire process. Individual staff members always have the option not to respond to any item on the survey or not to complete a survey at all.
